Civil
Civil law concerns disputes between not only individuals, but also between individuals and companies or organizations. Indonesian civil proceedings shall consist of 4 stages i.e. district court, high court, cassation and judicial review levels.
Our lawyers can assist clients to pursue legal actions or resolve legal issues with their best interests in mind. Among others, our area of practice includes damage claims, debt recovery, professional negligence, fraud and asset recovery, property disputes, and negligence in business with filing lawsuits either default or tort. Our services would cover:
1. Submitting a civil lawsuit or applications or drafting responses to Indonesian District Courts.
2. Representing clients in civil court proceedings as a Plaintiff or defendant, including preparing the necessary court documents such as Power of Attorney, Response to Defendant's Response (Replik), Counter Response to Plaintiff's Response (Duplik), List of Evidence (Daftar Bukti) and Conclusion (Kesimpulan).
3. Filing appeals (banding) to the Indonesian High Court, cassation (kasasi) or judicial review (peninjauan kembali) to the Supreme Court.
4. Assisting clients in preparing settlement agreements if an amicable settlement is reached during the mediation or the court hearing.
5. Submitting aanmaning or warning application and execution application to the Indonesian court.
